Understanding Your Own Oxygen Mask in Times of Crisis

Understanding Your Own Oxygen Mask in Times of Crisis

As you help your organization, company and clients manage through the response to COVID-19, I encourage you to make sure you’re taking time to be responsive to your own needs.

As communication professionals, our organizations and audiences need us now more than ever. But they can only benefit from the best of our talents and guidance if we are strong and able to support them.

The idea of hosting a webinar on the mental and physical health of communicators became a mission of mine long before COVID-19 surfaced. But here we are.

No doubt our organizations tend to come together in times of crisis. We will see our colleagues shine and go above and beyond as our organizations manage through. But checking in on how you are managing is important. You need to understand your own oxygen mask and how to use it. Now is a good time to do so.

So join me on Friday, March 13.

As you help to tell the story of your organization as it serves its audiences, I encourage you to stay in touch with the health of your own story.

In my Friday webinar, I’d like to introduce you to Leanne Ehren (pictured above), a communicator who has become a strong advocate for the mental health of the communicator. Her story is important, as is yours, especially now.

Join me. You’re invited. Sign up here.

If the time doesn’t work for you, there will be a link to the recording for those who register.

Thanks.
